Cheers Mobile Advises its Subscribers to Switch

Cheers Mobile, a brand of Etisalat DB in India, has urged its customers to transfer their mobile number to another operator, before to the scheduled suspension of its services on March 31, 2012. The operator has asked its customers to port out their Cheers number to a network of their choice as soon as possible, by following the process as suggested by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. Etisalat will be losing 15 2G spectrum licenses after the Supreme Court’s verdict.
