Russian and Norwegian Governments Seek India’s Help

Russian and Norwegian government have sought the help of Indian government in the wake of cancellation of 2G spectrum licenses. The Russian government has conveyed that Sistema Shyam Telecommunications (SSTL) has invested over $3 bn in the telecom sector, but its license has been canceled due to some legal problems. Norwegian government has sought an interaction to discuss the verdict of the supreme court on the cancellation of the 2G licenses which involves the Norwegian company, Telenor.
