Rcom Launches CDMA Tablet in India

Reliance Communicat­ions (Rcom) has unveiled its ‘Reliance CDMA Tab’, an Android tablet running on CDMA network. With this the operator has emerged as the first telecom operator in the country offering tablets on both 3G and CDMA networks. The CDMA device comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch screen and Android 2.3 OS. The CDMA tablet comes after the company’s launch of its 3G tablet last year. On the connectivi­ty front, it is supported by Reliance’ CDMA network across 22 circles in over 1,000 towns in the country.
