Augere to Launch 4G Services in July

Augere Wireless, one of the 8 operators holding BWA licenses, is planning to launch the much-awaited 4G services in the country in July this year. The company holds a BWA license to offer services in 1 circle—madhya Pradesh & Chhattisga­rh. Augere Wireless had paid 124.66 crore to grab the license to operate in 1 circle. The 8 operators— Bharti, Reliance Infotel, Tikona Digital, Augere, Aircel, Qualcomm, and PSU operators BSNL and MTNL—HAD bagged licenses to offer the high-speed broadband wireless access services in the country in a rigorous spectrum auction process that lasted for 16 days.
