Tamilnadu Telecommunications Bags BSNL OFC order

BSNL has released an advanced purchase order (APO) in favor of Tamilnadu Telecommunications to supply 3,206 km of 24 optical fiber cables (OFC). The total value of the order is

15.68 crore, which will increase as in the recent budget the government of India has increased excise duty. The delivery period of the order is 8 months and it will get completed by the end of November 2012. The company is planning to service the entire order before July 2012 due to the increased production capacity of Tamilnadu Telecommunications.
