SSTL Files Cu­ra­tive Pe­ti­tion in the Supreme Court

Rus­sian tele­com ma­jor Sis­tema and Shyam Tele­com joint ven­ture SSTL to­day filed a cu­ra­tive pe­ti­tion in the supreme court against the can­cel­la­tion of its li­censes. The com­pany that op­er­ates un­der MTS brand, in the cu­ra­tive pe­ti­tion, has asked the apex court to set aside its ear­lier or­der of li­cense can­cel­la­tion. SSTL has to­day filed a cu­ra­tive pe­ti­tion in the supreme court to set aside the supreme court or­der in can­cel­la­tion of its li­censes. “SSTL has con­sis­tently main­tained that be­ing a pure-play CDMA op­er­a­tor, its le­gal case is sig­nif­i­cantly dif­fer­ent com­pared to other mo­bile op­er­a­tors,” said the com­pany in its pe­ti­tion.
