Cisco introduces Mobile network Platform

Cisco has introduced the foundation for a new generation of mobile internet networks, the Cisco ASR 5500 platform. This new mobile platform increases performance by up to 10 times, said a press statement. The new Cisco ASR 5500 system extends the Cisco ASR 5000 series. Cisco ASR 5500 platform was designed to capitalize on the breakthroughs in software architecture optimized on new, purpose-built hardware, adds the statement.
