Mobile Services Revenue to Hit $976 bn by 2016

The worldwide mobile services market such as voice, broadband, mobile messaging services, etc, is expected to reach $976 bn by 2016, says an international market research firm, Infonetics Research. The bulk of this growth would come from mobile broadband services, adds the report. The operators can anticipate a 6% increase in the overall revenue from mobile voice, mobile broadband, and mobile messaging services in 2012. The highest growth in 2012 would come from Asia Pacific and Latin America, while the EMEA region would have a slight decline due to cut throat competition and economic turmoil, adds the report.
