Alcatel-lucent Offers ip vpn Services to Bt ireland

BT Ireland has extended its partnership with Alcatel-Lucent. As a part of the alliance, AlcatelLucent will supply ethernet and IP VPN services to BT in Ireland. The Alcatel-Lucent platform was delivering ethernet based solutions for BT Ireland customers; now it will deliver IP services for its business customers. BT Ireland will deploy 7,750 service routers and 5,620 service aware manager among its IP portfolio to underpin its recently launched IP connect Ireland service as part of its extensive network infrastructure in Ireland.
