India Offers ICT Support to Turkmenistan

India has assured Turkmenistan of all cooperation in ICT areas like e-health, e-education, and e-governance services. In his keynote address, Kapil Sibal, Minister for Communications and IT, Government of India recalled about historical ties between India and Turkmenistan and emphasized the need for regional cooperation to uplift the social and economic status of the people in the region. Sibal invited the Turkmenistan minister and his delegation to participate in the upcoming Indian Telecom 2012 in Delhi from December 12-13 this year.
