Wipro Q3’13 Net Up by 24% Y-O-Y

Wipro posts a net income of 16.11 bn in the second quarter 2013, up by 24% y-o-y. Its total revenues stood at

106.57 bn, an increase of 17% y-o-y. IT services revenue was 83.73 bn in this quarter with a y-o-y growth rate of 23% while its IT products’ revenue declined by 10% y-o-y, recording a revenue of 8.99 bn. Wipro had bagged 53 customers during this quarter for its IT services. The key deals won by the company include deals from a non-profit healthcare providers in the US, a retail departmental store chains based in North America, from a renewable energy in Germany, Qatar Airways, etc.
