Airtel India CEO Sanjay Kapoor Quits

Bharti airtel’s CEO for its India and South Asia operations, Sanjay Kapoor, has put in his papers to pursue other avenues. In a major shake-up at the top management, Kapoor has been replaced by Gopal Vittal, who will now look after India operations. The appointment would be effective from March 1, 2013. After spending almost 15 years with Bharti, Kapoor has decided to pursue his future aspirations outside the company. However he will continue his association with the Bharti Group and be on the Board of Indus Towers and Bharti Global.
