Hooda Lays Foundation Stone for UIDAI Data Center

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has laid the foundation stone for unique identification authority of India’s (UIDAI) datacentre at Manesar in Haryana. The data center is expected to be completed by June, 2014. Along with the chief minister, Nandan Nilekani, chairman of UIDAI, Rao Inderjit Singh, member of parliament; and RS Sharma, director general and mission director, UIDAI, were present at the event. Sharma said that the facility will come up on 5 acres and will be a state-ofthe-art, energy-efficient, captive green data center as per global standards and guidelines.
