HCIL Integrates Satelliteenabled Training at Maruti Suzuki

Hughes Communications India, (HCIL), a subsidiary of Hughes Network Systems (Hughes), has bagged a project from Maruti Suzuki for developing a digital training academy. The academy would incorporate satellite broadband technology and provide ‘live’ training across distribution chains, including company’s factories and offices, as well as key dealer outlets. As part of the partnership, Hughes will provide the studio integration at the Maruti Training Academy, classroom integration at the regional training offices, and set up the interactive delivery platform through a highpowered Ku-band satellite network.
