NASSCOM Appoints R Chandrasekaran as Chairman

National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has announced the appoinment of R Chandrasekaran as the Chairman for the year 2014-15. He is the Executive Vice Chairman of Cognizant India.

Chandrasekaran has been a member of NASSCOM’s Executive Council and has taken up the new role from April 9. He succeeds Krishnakumar Natarajan, CEO and MD of Mindtree, who served as Chairman of NASSCOM for the year 2013-14.

The Executive Council also announced the appointment of BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director, Infotech Enterprises as the Vice Chairman of NASSCOM.
