ShopClues deploys image search tool to match trend in online selling
India’s online shopping portal ShopClues has given a facelift to its mobile shopping experience by launching an Image Search Tool on its Android app. With the visual recognition technology, ShopClues believes that this launch is all set to completely disrupt the way m-commerce in India functions by bundling in the best aspects of the offline shopping experience.
The release indicated that ShopClues’ image search tool enables advanced visual recognition of a certain product and shows up more options that are similar in terms of colour, style, pattern, design, material etc. It emulates the brick-and-mortar experience where customers often ask shopkeepers to show different variants of and more products like the one on display.
