India’s digital payments platform Freecharge has entered into a strategic alliance with Heritage Fresh, South India’s leading grocery retailer.

Payment though Freecharge will be accepted at all 125 supermarkets of Heritage Fresh across Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai. Customers can make payments at Heritage Fresh & Heritage Mart supermarkets by using their mobile numbers registered with Freecharge and complete the transaction in less than 10 seconds. The dynamic ‘on-the-go-pin’ on the Freecharge app ensures the transaction is faster and safer than cash.

The partnership will further strengthen the payments process at Heritage Fresh and will offer a convenient and secure digital payments experience to its customers through the Freecharge wallet.
