Tower companies (TowerCos) have traditionally been in the business of selling space and energy, and have focused on Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) as their primary, and in most cases, only customer to sell their services. The core business has been to find a land, finance it, build, maintain and lease infrastructure. The ecosystem is rapidly undergoing several changes spanning emergence of new technologies, consumer demand and consolidation of telecom operators.
