The For­tiGate high-per­for­mance next gen­er­a­tion fire­wall could be in­stalled within the cus­tomer net­work, where it mon­i­tors the ap­pli­ca­tion traf­fic travers­ing the net­work for in­tru­sions, mal­ware and ma­li­cious ap­pli­ca­tions that could col­lec­tively cause mas­sive risk to the net­work.

Ciena has adopted an As­sured Net­work­ing ap­proach to net­work se­cu­rity to de­liver a re­silient so­lu­tion to trans­port data in tran­sit. One key se­cu­rity com­po­nent is en­cryp­tion. En­cryp­tion at the op­ti­cal layer dur­ing trans­port pro­vides a strong and ef­fec­tive safe­guard. Ciena’s 6500 Packet-Op­ti­cal Plat­form of­fers ad­vanced en­cryp­tion ca­pa­bil­i­ties.

Ju­niper Spot­light Se­cure threat in­tel­li­gence plat­form quickly de­liver the lat­est threat in­tel­li­gence from Ju­niper threat feeds, third-party threat feeds, and threat de­tec­tion tech­nolo­gies that the cus­tomer can de­ploy, to the fire­wall where com­pa­nies can take ac­tion quickly.

Bro­cade Net­work Vis­i­bil­ity and An­a­lyt­ics help ser­vice providers to de­tect from where the at­tack is com­ing and fix it.
