Freecharge launches ‘Auto Pay’

Digital pay­ments plat­form Freecharge has in­tro­duced Auto Pay to fa­cil­i­tate seam­less trans­ac­tions for any va­lid­ity bound recharges or util­ity bill pay­ments. The all new fea­ture will make the pay­ment process seam­less, fric­tion­less and more re­li­able for cus­tomers.

“To make re­cur­ring recharges and bill pay­ments con­ve­nient and fric­tion-free, cus­tomers can now en­able the Auto Pay op­tion for pay­ments via Freecharge. The pay­ments will be done au­to­mat­i­cally from the Freecharge wal­let on the due date, given that the con­sumer main­tains suf­fi­cient wal­let bal­ance. Once the trans­ac­tion is suc­cess­ful, a con­fir­ma­tion will be shared with the cus­tomer,” the com­pany said in its state­ment.

Con­sumers can avail the Auto Pay op­tion for any va­lid­ity-based pay­ments such as mo­bile recharges and util­ity bill pay­ments.

The Auto Pay fea­ture sends a re­minder to the cus­tomers about the due date be­fore ini­ti­at­ing the pay­ment process. In case there aren’t suf­fi­cient funds in the Freecharge wal­let, cus­tomers are re­minded to add money to their wal­let.
