SPINACH CHEESE RAVIOLI WITH MANCHURIAN SAUCE
INGREDIENTS: 5 bread slices – edges trimmed and rolled thin 5 cheese slices a handful of spinach chopped salt and black pepper to taste For manchurian sauce:
1 tbsp sesame oil 2 chopped green onion along 2 tbsp tomato puree 4 cloves chopped garlic 1 tbsp grated ginger a pinch of salt and sugar few drops of soy sauce 1 tbsp each tomato sauce and chilli sauce
Sauté chopped spinach with salt and pepper to taste. Cool.
Place one cheese slice and seasoned spinach on each rolled out thin bread slice.
Turn to give it a pillow shape. Seal edges with a hint of water. Deep fry to golden.
Heat the sesame oil. Saute onions lightly. Add ginger garlic and rest of the ingredients and stir fry for 3 minutes. Remove and cool. Serve raviolis with a blob of this sauce.
