SPINACH CHEESE RAVI­OLI WITH MANCHURIAN SAUCE

IN­GRE­DI­ENTS: 5 bread slices – edges trimmed and rolled thin 5 cheese slices a hand­ful of spinach chopped salt and black pep­per to taste For manchurian sauce:

1 tbsp sesame oil 2 chopped green onion along 2 tbsp to­mato puree 4 cloves chopped gar­lic 1 tbsp grated gin­ger a pinch of salt and sugar few drops of soy sauce 1 tbsp each to­mato sauce and chilli sauce

METHOD

Sauté chopped spinach with salt and pep­per to taste. Cool.

Place one cheese slice and sea­soned spinach on each rolled out thin bread slice.

Turn to give it a pil­low shape. Seal edges with a hint of wa­ter. Deep fry to golden.

Heat the sesame oil. Saute onions lightly. Add gin­ger gar­lic and rest of the in­gre­di­ents and stir fry for 3 min­utes. Re­move and cool. Serve ravi­o­lis with a blob of this sauce.
