Lijo Jose who wielded the cult Malay­alam film, Anga­maly Di­aries which turned out to be a su­per hit will serve as a cre­ative con­sul­tant for the Hindi adap­ta­tion of the 2017 crime drama the re­make rights have been ac­quired by Vikram Mal­ho­tra of Abun­dan­tia En­ter­tain­ment. The Malay­alam orig­i­nal which was about gang wars in Anga­maly in Ker­ala was a huge suc­cess at the box-of­fice and is hailed as a modern clas­sic. Vikram has gone on record stat­ing that he is de­lighted to be shar­ing the film that has at­tained cult sta­tus, with the Hindi au­di­ence! The orig­i­nal film got con­nected well with youth au­di­ence on the strength of its unique nar­ra­tive!
