The Stones Ho­tel, Le­gian, Bali – A Mar­riott Au­to­graph Col­lec­tion Ho­tel wel­comes a new and re­fresh­ing ad­di­tion to the team with the ap­point­ment of Daryn W. Hud­son as the new gen­eral man­ager. The Aus­tralian started his ca­reer in hos­pi­tal­ity a long time ago, when he worked as the restau­rant man­ager for Con­rad Jupiter's Ho­tel and Casino in Aus­tralia's Gold Coast in 2002.

His ven­ture in Mar­riott In­ter­na­tional started in 2005 as the di­rec­tor of food and bev­er­age for Surfers Par­adise Mar­riott Re­sort & Spa, also in the Gold Coast. From there he honed his skills in sev­eral Mar­riott ho­tels across the re­gion, in­clud­ing Mar­riott Ho­tel Manila and Re­nais­sance Bangkok Ratchapra­song Ho­tel. He was first ap­pointed as the gen­eral man­ager of Mar­riott Ex­ec­u­tive Apart­ments Sathorn Vista – Bangkok in 2013, be­fore con­tin­u­ing his jour­ney to Court­yard by Mar­riott Seoul Pangyo and The Stones Ho­tel, Le­gian, Bali – A Mar­riott Au­to­graph Col­lec­tion Ho­tel in Bali.

Through­out his ca­reer, Daryn has re­ceived nu­mer­ous awards and ac­co­lades, in­clud­ing most re­cently 2016 Asia Pa­cific Gen­eral Man­ager of the Year and 2016 Global Court­yard Di­a­mond

His vi­sion in his lat­est gig is to bring The Stones Le­gian to a new level life­style ho­tel by fo­cus­ing on a re­fresh­ing topic amidst Bali's ever-grow­ing hos­pi­tal­ity in­dus­try.
