On 23rd March, Ho­tel Borobudur Jakarta cel­e­brated its 44th an­niver­sary. On 23rd March, the ho­tel held a Clean­ing Fun Walk in the pub­lic area around the ho­tel for the ho­tel's em­ploy­ees as part of the cel­e­bra­tions. The walk was fol­lowed by a tumpeng rice-cut­ting cer­e­mony as well as a do­na­tion drive for or­phans. Some 150 or­phans were in­vited to join in the tumpeng rice-cut­ting cer­e­mony at the ho­tel. The or­phans were gifted goodie bags as well as do­na­tions from Ho­tel Borobudur Jakarta. The gen­er­ous ges­ture was part of the ho­tel's ini­tia­tive in sup­port­ing the com­mu­nity.

Guests at­tend­ing the an­niver­sary were en­cour­aged to revel in the cel­e­bra­tions.
