LOGAN

The third Wolverine movie takes its inspiration from Marvel's 2008/9 comic books, Old Man Logan, written and illustrated by Mark Millar and Steve Mcniven. Logan (Hugh Jackman) emerges as mentor to a young mutant girl, Laura (Dafne Keen) who has two claws instead of his three. Laura, like Logan, seems to have been part of an operation to turn mutants into killing machines.

Set in 2024, mutant births are severely in decline, the film follows an aging Logan embarking on perhaps his last adventure in the post-apocalyptic future. Full of twists and subplots, the action packed Logan is being hailed as one of the most poignant movies in the X-men series to date.
