Q: Describe your responsibilities in 10 words or fewer. A: Steering the best sales and marketing team in Bali.
Q: What makes a typical day?
A: Every day is different at W Bali and especially when I am outside the hotel for work, it is always fun. There are calls, meetings and plenty of emails to cater to! This is the life of a sales and marketing person.
Q: What's the toughest part of your job?
A: In my role at W Bali, I travel sometimes up to three times a month, so the jetlag can be tough. I'm not complaining though, I love my role – I mean, who doesn't like to travel?
Q: What do you find most satisfying in your job?
A: The most satisfying thing is all the people I work with – The W brand and the people in it have a vibe and energy like no other. They have such true talent, an inspiration and motivation in my daily job! Also to meet new and exciting travellers on a daily basis.
Q: Who has been the most influential figure in your career? A: It's a split – I would like to go for Richard Branson and, of course, my folks!
Q: Name one really special thing about your hotel.
A: Can I have two? Our people, and the second one is we have some of the best villas in W Bali and not so many people know about them – they are a gem to have right in the heart of Seminyak.
Q: How do you unwind?
A: Weekends away on the amazing islands around Bali, attempting to surf, eating and socialising with all of the fun and exciting people that Bali brings.
Q: If you hadn't taken this career path, what would you have chosen?
A: I would have chosen anything in travel. I do this role because I am all about travelling. Maybe a tour guide or working for an agency. wbaliseminyak.com
