“DenPasar”, a new program by CushCush Gallery whose name is derived from Denpasar city that literally means the “north market”, invites us all to witness an exhibition by a number of Bali-based artists and creative communities. Aiming to put Denpasar city on the map of art and design in Bali, the event titled “DenPasar2017” will give you a better perspective and understanding about the city. Not only displaying works of art, “DenPasar2017” event – which theme is “Market Language” – also holds various workshops that everyone can join, such as “One Drawing at a Time” on July 8, “Watercolor” on July 15, “Storytelling” on July 22 and “Mastering Your Own Style” on July 29. You can also join the DenPasar Talk with speakers Marlowe Bandem and Arief ‘Ayip’ Budiman who will share the role of documentation through art and the importance of “sense of place and iconography” respectively. The “DenPasar2017” event will run until August 2017.
