Mysterious Magic
This year, Cartier honors the historic movement in a new watchmaking interpretation via a Skeleton Mysterious Double Tourbillon. Mind you, the Mysterious Double Tourbillon movement was created at the La Chaux-de-Fonds Manufacture in 2013, and represents a milestone in Cartier’s watchmaking history with a tourbillon that appears to be suspended in mid-air with no connection to the rest of the movement. This new watch features a double flying tourbillon. The magic of the mysterious is encased in a skeletonized construction, while the curves of this watch and mysterious movement are complemented by the stark geometric openwork architecture.
