Changing of the seasons

With June and July behind us, we finally step into the fall/winter season— which is always exciting for fashion enthusiasts like myself. As what we saw at the various Fashion Weeks start trickling down to shops and boutiques everywhere, we start thinking about new styles, new combinations and new aesthetics. We start thinking about change. And that is always a good thing.

Seasons and change are also among the things shared by the array of celebrities featured in this issue. Both Casey Deidrick and Christopher Larkin are appearing in new seasons of well-established shows; the final season of “Teen Wolf” for Deidrick and “The 100” for Larkin. Ben Barnes, who graces our new cover, plays a lead role in the upcoming “Marvel’s The Punisher,” which sounds really promising.

Rudy Mancuso, however, represents the new generation of talent who are more at home on the Internet. And that shift is happening even here in Indonesia, as exemplified by actor Morgan Oey who is working on a new web-series. Finally, our newest DAMAN Darling, Nadine Chandrawinata, exemplifies a more grounded change that we should all strive to embrace.

Of course, speaking of things to come, it’s also almost the season where we will be releasing our two new special issues: DAMAN Style, in this case the Fall/Winter issue, and later on in the year, DAMAN Caliber. So, please look forward to these two publications.
