fall/winter 2017 collection, you may ask? Well, it’s ... nothing. This season, there are no elaborate concepts behind the clothes, nor are there any decorative effects. This season, it’s all about “construction and proportion,” as explained by Lanvin’s creative director, Lucas Ossendrijver. That said, this season’s collection of diving sneakers is highly recognizable with its tone-ontone topstitching, which gives it an urban street edge that is very fashion-forward. Besides sporting a proportional and disheveled design, every shoe features Lanvin-exclusive rubber soles that come in black, white or both. This, in turn, contrasts nicely with the proportional cuts and vibrant laces of the shoe, which then highlights its structure. As an added plus, the shoes also comes with calfskin leather touches for a more sumptuous air.
