Crossing Lines Paul Smith

collaborates with the house of Finn Juhl—who is famed for sculptural furniture designs that carefully accommodate the human form—to design several furniture pieces featuring Paul Smith’s signature fabrics. Titled “The Paul Smith x House of Finn Juhl,” the collaboration will showcase Finn Juhl pieces made with Paul Smith’s Maharam fabrics, such as the Finn Juhl 108 and 109 chairs with the Maharam segmented stripe, or the France chairs with the Assembled Check fabric. “Juhl combined an understanding of how things should work with how things should look to such beautiful effect,” Smith said of the collaboration. “With his background in architecture he knew how to solve a problem with design and always did it with such amazing lines and such elegant simplicity.”
