Marking Marvel’s first film with an African-American lead (finally), “Black Panther” picks off after “Captain America: Civil War” where King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home to the technologically-advanced African nation of Wakanda. Things don’t quite go as planned when his leadership is threatened by foes who aspire to destroy Wakanda. Consequently, Black Panther must team up with CIA agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) and the Dora Milaje, the Special Forces of Wakanda, to prevent the nation from being dragged into a world war. “Black Panther” will definitely clear things up about the hero before we see him again in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
