TIMBERLAND HITS ALL THE RIGHT NOTES WITH UPDATED RENDITIONS OF ITS FAMED FLYROAM COLLECTION
S ince debuting back in 2017, Timberland’s Flyroam collection has become a huge favorite for its sneaker boot hybrid design. And last spring, the Flyroam collection pushed the boundaries of sport even further by introducing a sock and sneaker hybrid shoe dubbed the Flyroam Go.
Today, the Flyroam collection has grown again with the addition of new and exciting options, including the leather FlyRoam Go hiker and chukka boots called the FlyRoam Chill. The campaign for this new range will showcase key pieces worn by actual Timberland consumers leading a modern, youthful life. One of them is NK7, one of China’s most recognizable Instagram celebrities who has become famous for his architectural photography.
Throughout the campaign, we can see NK7 wandering through the streets of Hong Kong in search of spots of nature hidden within the city. The real star of the campaign, however, is, of course, the Timberland Flyroam shoe, which features Aerocore technology that makes each step lighter.
Essentially, this is what the new Flyroam collection is built for. These are not really meant for sport and training, but for everyday use. To that end, the Flyroam shoes feature these three innovations: Aerocore Technology This is a high-rebound cushioning sole design that makes the shoe incredibly light, which becomes especially apparent when the shoe is worn for long hours with each step feeling free and fast. defender Repellent systems Treatment This feature comes in handy when water and dirt comes in contact with the shoe, as the Defender Repellent System penetrates the fabric of the shoe to create a durable barrier that protects the shoe against moisture, whether it’s water or even coffee. As an added bonus, it won’t disrupt the breathability of the shoe, nor its feel or flexibility. ortholite footbed Used in a wide range of Timberland shoes, OthoLite footbed refers to comfort foam insoles that provide moisture transport and longterm cushioning. It is extremely comfortable, ultra-breathable and won’t lose cushioning over time.
Features aside, the new Flyroam collection is available in several colors. The Flyroam Chill Chukka, for instance, is available in black and dark-brown full grain leather, or navy nubuck. All shoes are also supported with a rubber outsole, providing better traction and grip.
