BR03-92 HOROBLACK
As part of the Horo line launched last year, the limited edition BR03-92 Horoblack features Bell & Ross’ iconic square shape. Or, to be precise, “a circle in a square” that is reminiscent of the silhouettes of clocks you can find in an airplane’s cockpit. The design of the dial is also a classic at Bell & Ross with a huge emphasis on simplicity and easy legibility. Of particular note is the way Bell & Ross plays with the contrast of black against gray (the former for the hands and indexes, the former as a uniform hue across the case and dial) to guarantee optimal readability. Simplicity, as they say, can be deceptive, and the seemingly plain BR03-92 Horoblack is a prime example of this.
case
The case comes in micro blasted steel, which features a uniform appearance throughout and a gray tone of high purity. Furthermore, the matte finishing is antireflective, which also helps with legibility.
dial
The dial of the watch has two overlapping inserts. On top is a microblasted gray upper insert that is cut away around the numerals and indexes. These cuts, in turn, reveal the black SuperLumiNova coating on the lower ins.
movement
The BR03-92 Horoblack’s 42mm steel case houses a powerful calibre BRCAL.302 automatic mechanical movement.
