Days after Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover’s “Feels Like Summer” animated music video was released, Adidas released a continuation video, which saw Glover’s animated character taking off his shoes, opening an Adidas box and donning a new pair of sneakers. The video, as many might have guessed, announced Glover as Adidas’ brand ambassador as well as a “co-creator.” So, expect collaborative sneakers, apparels as well as creative projects to come in the near future. “I believe it’s important not to feel like ideas are bound by specific guidelines and Adidas Originals has given me the opportunity to create on my own terms,” Glover comments. “I’m looking forward to seeing what that leads to.”
