Signature Strides

Marking the first collaborative collection between Tommy Hilfiger and Lewis Hamilton, who also just won the Singapore Grand Prix and before that, showcased his runway show with Tommy Hilfiger at Shanghai, the TommyXLewis collection draws upon Tommy Hilfiger’s sportswear heritage as well as Lewis’ street style and tattoos. One element taken directly from Lewis’ tattoos is the word Loyalty. Then there’s Lewis’ “H” initials above Tommy Hilfiger’s red and white flag, which can be seen on color-blocked sweaters, denim and bomber jackets. Logos and markings aside, the collection showcased some really bold and street-savvy clothes. The contrast multi plaid T-shirt that comes with a hoodie, for instance, is a bold restyling of the famed ’90s multi plaid shirt, which is making a huge comeback this fall.
