A Decade of Creativity
Last August, Art Jakarta celebrated its 10th anniversary on a high note with various programs and special performances presented to commemorate the milestone. Held once again at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta Ballroom, Pacific Place with DAMAN as an official media partner, the event proved yet again to be a success, attracting more than 32,000 visitors during its run. Another bit of welcome news is that both local and international exhibitors at Art Jakarta reported robust sales, with numerous galleries selling up to 80 percent of their exhibits, a testimony to the everincreasing appreciation for art in Indonesia.
