PROJECT BLUE BOOK

Project Blue Book—as in the actual, historical project called Blue Book—is a series of systematic studies on UFOs conducted by the United States Air Force from 1952 until 1969. The new TV series “Project Blue Book” is, of course, based on it and focuses on the story of Dr. J. Allen Hynek (Aidan Gillen), an astrophysicist—and later ufologist—who is recruited to lead the project. Along with his partner, Captain Michael Quinn (Michael Malarkey), he is summoned to investigate UFO sightings around the country and discover what really happened. Of course, Hynek begins to suspect that he has been duped by the government into a conspiracy to cover up the truth.
