Last September, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach opened its beachside bar and restaurant, SugarSand ( Jl.DoubleSix, Kuta,Bali;+623612099999;

sugarsandbali.com). Located at the Seminyak beachfront overlooking the Indian Ocean, SugarSand is a two-level bar and restaurant that resembles a traditional jukung fishing boat. There, guests will be greeted by daybeds, terraces and an open-air lounge with a great view of Kuta’s famed sunsets. The bar offers a range of Japanese style cocktails, sake, sochu and a collection of G&Ts. The drinks and food—which range from ceviche to tiraditos, sushi to king prawns, whole fish to robata grill delicacies—are served to the tune of techno or jazzy hip hop. No genre is off limits at SugarSand.
