Pepe Jeans makes a Com­miT­menT to sus­tain­abil­ity with the launch of wiser wash for Pepe Jeans. This is, of course, in ad­di­tion to Tru blu, the brand’s pre­vi­ous ven­ture into sus­tain­abil­ity. The gist of wiser wash is that it elim­i­nates the use of pumice stone and toxic chem­i­cals in­volved in tra­di­tional wash­ing. by us­ing a com­bi­na­tion of elec­tri­fied wa­ter, nat­u­ral ozone gas and laser, this tech­nol­ogy re­duces en­ergy con­sump­tion, uses zero toxic chem­i­cals and has the abil­ity to re­duce wa­ter waste by more than 90 per­cent with the wa­ter re­cy­cling sys­tem. Pepe Jeans has also cho­sen four am­bas­sadors and ac­tivists to rep­re­sent this sus­tain­able cam­paign, in­clud­ing in­dia salvör menuez, Queeny Van Der Zande, wil­son oryema and kevin youn.
