The Mediterranean

Acqua di Parma boasts a heritage of Italian lightness, style and fine craftsmanship with Blu Mediterraneo Chinotto di Liguria. Since its inception in 1999, this fragrance is only the ninth release in twenty years. The great French perfumer, François Demachy is behind this blue colored cylinder bottle fragrance. The note being explored in this fragrance is a rare Mediterranean citrus called Chinotto. The small and rare fruit has more sweetness and matched to it in the top accord is a marine note capturing the crashing sea spray on the beach. The heart accord is a continuation of cardamom and rosemary with a hint of jasmine. This is where it feels like a beach walk between ocean on onse side and orange tress and jasmine vines on the other. It’s the perfect fragrance for the summer, with a hint of white musk and patchouli in the base.
