“Rocketman” is a fantasy musical biopic about the uncensored human story of Sir Elton John breakthrough years. Taron Egerton is looking convincing as young Elton John and he even does his own singing. The movie goes back in time to tackle the rising stardom of the award-winning musician. There are hits of surrealism and fantasy dotted through the film, making this movie not your average music biopic movie. The film also stars Richard Madden as his manager and lover John Reid, and Bryce Dallas Howard as his mom Sheila Eileen.
