Italian-born chef Maurizio Bombini has made quite a name for himself on the global culinary scene and is also quite well-known in Bali, having worked at the Bvlgari Resort Bali and the Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Resort. Situated in what is arguably the busiest tourism hotspot on the island, Mauri manages to stand out with its charming venue, excellent service and, of course, great food, to say nothing of the affable chef who works and interacts with guests from his impressive open kitchen. From the petit fours to the pastas to the main dishes, the menu at Mauri is something everyone should experience at least once—preferably often.
