Makes a Lot of Sense
The Six Senses hospitality brand certainly wants to set their footing deep in Southeast Asia. After the phenomenal Duxton in Singapore and the alluring Uluwatu in Bali, now comes Six Senses Krabey Island ( Koh Krabey Island, Ream Commune, Preah Sihanouk Province; +855 69 944 888; sixsenses.com/resorts/krabey-island) in Cambodia. Only the brand’s 19th resort so far, this latest addition has 40 private pool villas, spread all over the 12 hectare island, surrounded with rocky coasts and pristine azure ocean. It took a 10 minute drive from the Sihanouk International airport to the docks, then a 15 minutes on boat to reach. Sustainability is applied on both the villa design and their two restaurants’ operational – with produce harvested from their own organic farm and herb garden.
