This enchanting boutique resort boasts 17 one to three- bedroom villas nestled along a hilly river valley in the rainforest just north of Ubud. Guests are warmly welcomed in the lobby with stunning unimpeded views across the dense woodland, before the butler whisks them away by buggy to their private pool villa. Here the outdoor terrace boasts comfortable sun loungers and a heated infinity pool ideal for watching the sun rise over the mists and the trees or stargazing accompanied by fireflies at night.

Inside, marble floors, dark woods, rich copper tones and flashes of bright peacock colours come together in an inviting space perfect for romantic interludes and getting away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. within the resort there are

There are board games available too and the staff are more than happy to provide instruction on Indonesia’s congklak or help you play chess on the specially designed board.

The Kelusa restaurant serves imaginative dishes inspired by Indonesia’s local produce and flavours with seating undercover and along the terrace to get the best of the stunning location. Cocktails and non- alcoholic beverages are excellent, including the signature Popcorn Sour. The pool bar, Firefly, is also a hub for socialising, as well as soaking up the sun’s rays.
