Located at the front of the Grandmas Plus Hotel Seminyak, the Miura Pintxos Bar and Grill is Bali’s first Basque diner. Here, Chef Taufan Rahamdhai and his team integrate Spanish and Europeaninspired dishes with Asian favourites and flavours. With a typical laid- back Basque vibe, the restaurant features an alfresco setup housed in a two- level rotunda, with the airy top terrace overlooking the street and the hotel’s pool.
It is a large menu and house specialities include Spanish Drunken Chicken, Crispy Calamari and Pintxos, snack food originating from the bars of San Sebastian, Bilbao and the wider Basque region. The range includes Eguski (Russian salad with tuna, egg, chilli confit and olives), Gabarra (egg croquette with a dab of tomato sambal) Kaixo (Iberico cured sausage pasta with honey and thyme) and Txerritxu (smothered pig’s ear and caramelised onions). Whatever you choose, you can wash it down with a cold beer, Chacoli sparkling white or one of the best sangrias in Bali.
