in­samju is a tra­di­tional medic­i­nal wine made with gin­seng and is par­tic­u­larly pop­u­lar among the el­der gen­er­a­tions in Korea. it is made by fer­ment­ing Korean gin­seng, and whole roots can be found in­side the ac­tual bot­tle for pre­sen­ta­tion as well as to pro­long its fer­men­ta­tion process.
