A recent Find Your Flavour collaborat­ion with four Michelinst­arred restaurant­s saw complex Asian flavours being paired with Wolf Blass Gold Label wines. The medium to full bodied Chardonnay in particular proved versatile, whether with chilli or a mix of spices. Its creamy texture is achieved from partial natural malolactic fermentati­on, followed by 9 months ageing in 75% seasoned and 25% new French oak. This South Australian blend also employed night harvesting to retain its delicate flavours and acid balance, most notably in 2018’s extended growing vintage. $41.50 from fairprice.com.sg
