WOLF BLASS GOLD LABEL CHARDONNAY 2018
A recent Find Your Flavour collaboration with four Michelinstarred restaurants saw complex Asian flavours being paired with Wolf Blass Gold Label wines. The medium to full bodied Chardonnay in particular proved versatile, whether with chilli or a mix of spices. Its creamy texture is achieved from partial natural malolactic fermentation, followed by 9 months ageing in 75% seasoned and 25% new French oak. This South Australian blend also employed night harvesting to retain its delicate flavours and acid balance, most notably in 2018’s extended growing vintage. $41.50 from fairprice.com.sg
