As a connoisseur of life, you may find a reassuring continuity in all of Raffles Hotels and Resorts properties.

The elaborate luxuries, interesting locales, gracious hospitality, and attention to gourmet offerings are all part of the

Raffles experience. Raffles Jakarta is not an exception. Towering above Jakarta’s central business district, the five-star hotel distinctively weaves culture with style, creating a graceful oasis in the heart of the bustling capital.

While the hotel lobby vibrantly showcases colourful mosaics as a tribute to Indonesia’s beloved artist, Hendra Gunawan, The Dining Room is designed in a refined palette to better showcase the stunning view of the city skyline. Located on the 12th floor, the innovative culinary destination offers a one-of-a-kind gastronomy dining experience in Jakarta.

Leading international guest chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants and Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants have been making their way to The Dining Room since its unveiling last September. Indonesia’s most talented chefs have also been showcasing their talents and wowing guests from its action-packed open kitchen.

Jakarta’s epicureans have been treated to the amazing Restaurant Take Over series from chef Thitid Tassanakajohn of Bangkok’s Le Du, chef Maxie Millian of Bali’s Sangsaka, chef Maurizio Bombini of Bali’s Mauri Restaurant, and chef Richie

Lin of Taipei’s Mume. The Dining Room has also hosted chef Thomas Bühner of the three-michelin-stars La Vie in Germany and chef Julien Royer of Singapore’s Odette (currently ranked at 1 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants and a recipient of three-michelinstars in 2019) in memorable dining experiences.

With just 50 seating, The Dining Room is exclusively built to satiate discerning appetites for world-class gastronomic experiences. Most recently, it hosted a sold-out Restaurant Take Over with JAAN by Kirk Westaway. Located on the highest floor of Swissôtel The Stamford in Singapore, JAAN is spearheaded by chef Kirk Westaway and showcases his innovative approach in reinventing British cuisine shaped by seasonality and expertly sourced ingredients. Westaway’s culinary approach has secured JAAN its one-michelin-star and its current rank at 32 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019.

Lucky guests of the evening were pampered with five-course tasting menu including JAAN’S signature dish, Roast Potato & Leek Soup as well as Kinmedai, Carrots, Saffron, Langoustine and Wylarah Wagyu Short Rib, Potato, Mushroom Soy. “JAAN by Kirk Westaway has always been about being vegetable-forward. I grew up being a vegetarian and that has had a strong influence on my culinary direction, and what goes on the menu at the restaurant. An array of vegetables is used in different dishes and there is always at least one signature vegetable dish each season,” Westaway shares.

Next, The Dining Room will host two outstanding events: Sonoma County’s Kendall-jackson Wine Dinner and Restaurant Takeover featuring chef Jethro Vincent of Bali’s BIKINI.
