The reverberating sound of the bronze gong summons retreat participants to the Yoga Shala and marks the beginning of their seven-day journey. After a warm orientation and welcome, participants are invited to join the purifying Agnihotra Ceremony during sunset. Amidst the chanting, a fire ceremony sets the intention and begins the healing process. Set against the backdrop of Ubud’s verdant hills, these weekly retreat programmes at Oneworld Retreats provide the ideal opportunity for personal transformation to take place.

In each retreat, participants are invited to discover Bali through activities such as purification ceremonies at Tirta Empul temple, sunrise yoga at Mount Batur volcano, rice field walks, and bicycle rides through Balinese villages. In addition, there are daily invigorating yoga sessions, deep meditations, lavish spa treatments, nourishing meals, shared poignant moments with fellow participants, and even a pot of heart-warming homemade ginger-lemon tea served every morning on your balcony to welcome the day. Being offline is encouraged throughout the retreat and artistic pursuit is deeply supported through the colouring amenities provided in each room.

Founded by Claude Chouinard and Iyan Yaspriyana in 2003, Oneworld Retreats is a creator of life experiences. Catering to each individual’s needs, the retreat centre offers a wide range of themes from meditation-focused retreats to experiences for self-growth and rejuvenation. With 14 comfortable rooms and plenty of space to roam within the lush grounds, each participant’s needs are well taken care of by the attentive staff. Whether one is in a dire need to escape from the rigours of daily life or is looking for a healing experience, Oneworld Retreats provides a safe sanctuary.
